Our design has a fixed screen that is replaceable and will not fall off in operation. It will be supplied unsterilised, so please if you need it sterilised then please arrange for this to be done locally. They are produced at temperature (170°C) and have the minimum handling from printer to bag.

Laser cut screens are supplied by a third party to our design and we are selling these at cost.  We are currently trying to get the price down on these parts and will reduce it accordingly.

We have had multiple enquiries for visors for health workers in large quantities but it is always by third parties and never seems to go anywhere. We are trying to produce visors at the absolute minimum cost that we can carry on making them at and as such we would rather sell them directly to where they are needed. We would love to give them to the NHS or other health National services but we are a small business and cannot afford to do this.

We have designed our own visor to be printed on our HP Multi jet fusion system. As such it is not an approved design but the material it is produced from is approved for skin contact (please download the certificate from below for reference). We are providing this product without warranty or certification but if you can use it to protect health workers then we are very happy. We have produced our own visor because it allows us to produce more per day and to lower the price as far as we can. For comparison the HP designed visor can produce 70 off in a single build, the Prussa (on an HP printer) around 60 and the Incremental Engineering visor can produce 150. We are only selling in packs of 50 for now and we can produce up to 150 per day. If you place an order you will be contacted with an estimated delivery date. We do have other service bureaus in the UK we can call on to increase production volumes if needed.

To show our good faith we are making our design available to anyone who has an HP or similar powder bed printer as it is a much more efficient design for the HP system than either the Stratasys or Prussa design which are efficient for FDM machines. If you have an HP printer and would like the nesting file (for 150 visors and 600 studs) please contact Incremental Engineering through our webform. Please only ask if you have an HP printer (or similar) as it costs us time away from production of visors to send the files, we will check with HP prior to sending the files.

We are currently testing our final prototype and deliveries could start next week (again the week commencing 6th April 2020).

The prices quoted below are liable to change as we are still evolving the design to make it cheaper and once we have made a significant quantity we will have a better handle on the costs. If we can reduce the price we will!
